What Happens If I’m Not In When My Delivery Arrives?

Not going to be home? No problem — FedEx makes it easy to stay in control of your delivery.

Deliveries can take place any time between 7:00 AM and 10:00 PM.

Once your order is dispatched, you'll receive an email with your tracking details — please keep this safe. Use your tracking number to monitor your delivery and ensure someone is available to receive it.

If no one’s home, the courier will:

  • Leave the parcel in a secure location
  • Leave it with a neighbour

To help avoid delays, please make sure there’s easy access to your property during the expected delivery window.

 

Need to make changes?

We recommend using FedEx Delivery Manager to:

  • Redirect your parcel to a nearby location with later hours
  • Reschedule the delivery
  • Set up delivery alerts by email or text
